Brazed heat exchangers in stainless steel.
These are the perfect heat exchangers for tasks such as heating water with steam. Alfa Laval’s brazed
heat exchangers are extremely compact. This is achieved with high heat transfer coefficients,
a small hold-up volume and the use of thin materials. Instead of using gaskets, the stainless steel plates are
brazed into a single unit with copper or nickel used as the brazing material. The compact rectangular shape, as well as the front-facing connections, make the units easy to mount and install. The thermally efficient design lowers operating costs. All parts of the brazed plate heat exchanger are made of AISI 316 stainless steel, ensuring high corrosion resistance
